Editorial policy
This page explains how content on celeno.online is produced, how it is paid for, and how we keep the two apart.
Who writes
All content is written and edited by Susan Smith, responsible editor for DONAU LOGISTICS - výroba obalů a balení s.r.o.. Each article shows the author's name, the publication date and, where relevant, the date of the last review. We do not publish content under invented names or personas.
How facts are established and sourced
- Primary sources first. Product facts come from the vendor's own official pages and documentation. Regulatory facts come from the regulator's own announcements. Test results come from the independent labs that published them.
- Sources are listed at the end of each article so that readers can check them.
- We separate what we know from what we don't. Where a detail varies by country, plan or version, or could not be verified, we say so instead of guessing.
- No invented numbers. We do not publish statistics, test scores, prices or specifications that we cannot attribute to a source. Because prices and plan contents change often, we generally point readers to the vendor's current information instead of quoting them.
- Hands-on claims are labelled. We say clearly whether we tested something ourselves. We do not present desk research as personal experience.
How the site is funded
celeno.online is funded by affiliate commissions. Some articles contain partner links to products. If a reader buys through such a link, the publisher may receive a commission from the advertiser or its affiliate network. The reader pays nothing extra. We do not charge for coverage, sell sponsored articles or accept free products in exchange for reviews.
How we disclose this:
- a disclosure bar at the top of every page;
- a disclosure box directly under the headline of every article that contains partner links, before any promotional content;
- a “Partner link” label on every commercial button, and a short note under each one explaining the commission;
- commercial links are marked
rel="sponsored"for search engines.
What we refuse to do
- Fake testimonials or “reader stories”. We do not invent users, quotes or experiences.
- Invented ratings. We do not display star ratings, scores or “best of” awards that are not based on a stated, reproducible method.
- Artificial urgency. No fake countdowns, “only today” offers or claims of limited stock.
- Guaranteed-result claims. We never claim that a product makes you “100% safe” or guarantees protection, because none can.
- Scare tactics. We describe real risks proportionately and point to free measures as well as paid products.
- Hidden advertising. Commercial content is always labelled.
Independence from advertisers
Advertisers and affiliate networks have no right to review, approve or change our content before or after publication. Earning a commission from a product does not stop us describing its limitations, its privacy history or free alternatives. Our Avast guide covers all three. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the brands we write about.
Corrections procedure

- If we find an error of fact, we correct the page promptly and update its “last reviewed” date. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article, with the date and what was changed.
- If we disagree, we reply and explain why.
